Move comes hours ahead of casino reopening

Fallsview Casino posting a message on its website, its hotel will reopen this afternoon at 3 am ahead of the reopening of the casino, at half capacity, starting at 12:01 tomorrow morning.

Last week, the province announced as part of its reopening plan people can eat and drink at casinos, sporting venues and movie theatres providing they remain seated.

Restaurants will also open their doors to indoor dining again tomorrow, also at 50 percent capacity, as the province begins a gradual lifting of COVID related restrictions.

Social gatherings also increase to 10 indoors and 25 outdoors.

It is the first phase of a gradual reopening with a further easing of restrictions scheduled to take place February 21st.
