Canadians Polled on School Pronoun Use

It appears Canadians are evenly split on children using different names or pronouns in schools.

A Leger poll on the term "parental rights" looked at how Canadians feel on provinces using the notwithstanding clause to ensure schools tell parents if their child wishes to use a different name or pronoun.

Most respondents believe teachers should have to notify parents of changes.

The poll also suggests Canadians are almost evenly split on whether these issues should be discussed in schools.
