The body of a third person swept away during this weekend's flooding in Nova Scotia has been found.

Authorities say a child's body was found in West Hants, which is about two hours northwest of Halifax.

The victims include a youth, a man in his fifties and two children.

The search for the youth continues.

During this weekend's storm, some parts of the province saw about 250 millimetres of rain.
