Lena's Friday Buzz!

Here are the celebrity stories I talked about today on The Mike and Lena Show!

Comedian Amy Schumer and model Emily Ratajkowski have been detained for protesting Brett Kavanaugh! They were two of over 300 people that were arrested for things like “crowding” and “obstructing.” They streamed into a government building to protest Kavanaugh’s impending Supreme Court confirmation. (Several women have accused of sexual assault, so, understandably, a lot of people aren't happy about it.) Why were they in the building? Because their planned protest area was sectioned-off by police.

A feud is born! ‘Venom’ and ‘A Star is Born’ are competing for top spot at the box office this weekend. So, Lady Gaga fans thought they’d help their side by writing terrible reviews for ‘Venom’! One tweet seems to be copy-and-pasted by several accounts. It says, “I am the biggest Marvel fan but I just watched Venom and I don’t know what to say.” BuzzFeed says they actually reached out to one of these accounts and the person admitted, “It’s us Gaga fans creating fake IDs to trash ‘Venom’... we want more audience for ‘A Star Is
Born.’” (People have a lot of time on their hands.)
